Castor OIl
Soapers simply love Castor Oil! It is humectant so it attracts moisture to the skin as well as helps to create wonderful bubbles. It adds an emolliency to soap recipes but should be kept at a lower percentage else your soaps will be very soft. Rich in fatty acids it's both lubricating and soothing.
Organic Hemp Oil
Organic Hemp Oil has a deep green color as a result of the high levels of chlorophyll which naturally exists in the seeds from the plant. It absorbs easily and is rich in linoleic acids which makes it highly conditioning to the skin. It has palmitic properties which will also contribute to the hardness of soaps as well.
Rice Bran Oil
Rice Bran Oil is very moisturizing to the skin and can provide some sunscreen protection when used in lotions and butters. However, without testing your product - you won't be able to tell how much SPF protection it provides. Rice Bran Oil is naturally filled with antioxidants. It is high in palmitic, oleic and linoleic acids which makes it great to use for more mature skins.
Sweet Almond Oil
Sweet Almond Oil is a very versatile oil and can be used in a multitude of products. It's well known that it's used as a massage oil and is rich in vitamins E and D. In soaps it's super-conditioning being high in oleic acid.
